Miniature Industry Laboratories is a graphic and industrial design studio dedicated to the careful realization of crazy ideas—especially the ones that refuse to remain theoretical.

Inside the lab, we make use of gantry-operated robotics, traditional modeling techniques, COâ‚‚ laser milling, and ceramic molds. These tools are applied deliberately, occasionally obsessively, and always in service of turning sketches, notes, and vague hunches into actual objects.

The graphics studio exists to give those objects something decent to wear in public. We provide visual design for industrial projects and work from concept to finish on printed matter. This includes custom print materials, apparel graphics, and design for books, zines, and other publications—often produced in small batches, and usually after asking, “Does this really need to exist?”  (the answer is always yes.)

Wondercolor is the visual arts studio of Gus Van de Graeff, where the super-real becomes surreal, the surreal becomes real, and the line between the two quietly slips out the back door when no one is paying attention.

Work here moves quickly—sometimes at the exact speed of time itself—so blinking is discouraged. Materials, images, and ideas are free to change mid-thought, producing results that are unexpected, occasionally familiar, and rarely finished in the traditional sense.

The studio leans heavily on cuts, paint, canvas, paper, pencil, brush, pen, and mark to open a door into a slightly bizarro space. It’s a place where nostalgia, time travel, sci-fact, and sci-fi collide, resulting in traditional and mixed-media works intended for thoughtful, curious, and well-fed visual consumption.
