Miniature Industry Laboratories is a graphic and industrial design studio dedicated to the careful realization of crazy ideas—especially the ones that refuse to remain theoretical.

Inside the lab, we make use of gantry-operated robotics, traditional modeling techniques, COâ‚‚ laser milling, and ceramic molds. These tools are applied deliberately, occasionally obsessively, and always in service of turning sketches, notes, and vague hunches into actual objects.

The graphics studio exists to give those objects something decent to wear in public. We provide visual design for industrial projects and work from concept to finish on printed matter. This includes custom print materials, apparel graphics, and design for books, zines, and other publications—often produced in small batches, and usually after asking, “Does this really need to exist?”  (the answer is always yes.)

Wondercolor is the visual arts studio of Gus Van de Graeff, where the super-real becomes surreal, the surreal becomes real, and the line between the two quietly slips out the back door when no one is paying attention.

Work here moves quickly—sometimes at the exact speed of time itself—so blinking is discouraged. Materials, images, and ideas are free to change mid-thought, producing results that are unexpected, occasionally familiar, and rarely finished in the traditional sense.

The studio leans heavily on cuts, paint, canvas, paper, pencil, brush, pen, and mark to open a door into a slightly bizarro space. It’s a place where nostalgia, time travel, sci-fact, and sci-fi collide, resulting in traditional and mixed-media works intended for thoughtful, curious, and well-fed visual consumption.

At Half Moon Trading Company, we take pride in showcasing the abundance of our forests and sharing our innovative culinary creations. We specialize in offering a wide range of premium culinary mushroom products and carefully foraged natural foods. Our mushrooms are meticulously sourced - either wild foraged or cultivated in our very own sustainable state-of-the-art mushroom farm.

Red Tree Pottery specializes in red-hot ceramics designed to shine wherever the hearth is warm and the bellies are full. From stunning sushi sets to fine—or delightfully rustic—tableware, plus every size of the ever-popular Doug Mug, our pieces are made to be loved, used, and maybe even argued over at the dinner table.

We’re a full-service ceramics studio, wielding hand-building, slab, wheel, slipcast, and press-mold techniques with equal parts skill and flair. Most of our creations fire in our trusty electric kiln, but for the ultimate touch of drama and sophistication, we turn to our hybrid traditional Raku gas firing method—because sometimes, fancy is worth the smoke.

In 2012, work began on what would become PDX’s premier ceramics art gallery—fueled by big ideas, muddy hands, and a deep love of clay. Eutectic Gallery was co-founded by Gus Van de Graeff, John Fletcher Halyburton, Joshua Kovarik, and Bretton Sage, with the added creative spark of Jeffrey Thomas.

Fourteen years and a few firings later, Eutectic Gallery is still serving clay artists with grit and passion. Now based in Willamina, Oregon at East Creek Art Studio, the gallery continues to champion ceramic arts with the same stubborn dedication that started it all.

This project serves as an archive of that original mission—honoring one of Oregon’s longest-running art venues still proudly holding space for clay and community.
