The Begining of the Small Batch
This project began in jest but gradually transformed into an investigation of value itself. Centered around the concept of the mystery box, the work relied on a simple but powerful premise: the recipient would not know exactly what they were receiving until the moment of revelation. This uncertainty became an essential component of the experience.
As the project spread, I became fascinated by the notion that an object's worth is often determined less by its material reality than by the perception surrounding it. The possibility of receiving something believed to be worth more than its purchase price created a space where anticipation, imagination, and expectation could flourish. In many cases, the unknown generated as much excitement as the object itself.
